To be fair though, I thought the Spurs player (Mason?) should have gone as well as Benteke because he shoved his head in Benteke's face.

It must be hard though, not to react when some clown shoves his head in yer fizzer.
Benteke didn't punch him, he just pushed his head away.
I thought it was a bit harsh to send him off.
I know you're not allowed to "raise your hands" nowadays, but what are you supposed to do in that situation?

The games today shamed football.
When I first started watching football it used to be a competitive contact sport, where men were men and it took a bulldozer to take them down.
Nowadays it's not about winning by being the best or strongest team, it's about trying to get the opposition sent off.
Rooney spent the entire match telling the referee to book City players, and then the sending off at Villa was a complete joke. Benteke broke the "rules" as they are nowadays, but don't footballers look at the reaction of Mason and just feel ashamed to be part of such a "sport".
Fucking ponces each and every one of them.

Bread suggested he simply pushed his head away, but that was far from the truth.
It was a slap. In the manner of Floyd Mayweather.
