Anyone watching the darts on ITV 4 ? James wade is giving Phil taylor a run for his money in the semi-final. Van gerwen is favourite to beat King in the second semi but I hope Merv brings his A game and gives MVG a whooping.

Brilliant showing from Merv. All English final and really too close to call. If I had to place money on it then I would probably go with Wade.

Merv has a bad back and for a bloke in his forties he needs to lose some weight round his midriff. Great dart player though. He cost me a right pile of cash in the BDO when I backed him to win the Embassy the year before he defected to the PDC. I had £100 on him to win outright at 8-1 and he absolutely fcuked up in the final!

I've stopped betting on darts. Got stung too often.

I have done quite well at betting on the darts but I couldn't make a living out of it. You need someone like Mr Leach who makes his money on fine margins.

King 5-0 up in the final and playing out of his skin. He hasn't won a major PDC event since he joined them. Anyone who backed him at the start will have got really decent odds.
Look for a Wade comeback.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!
When wade loses a bit of concentration he struggles badly and Is crap but when he gets on a roll the guy is unplayable. Looks like he's having a shitty game. Wouldn't write him off just yet though. Missing 4 darts at tops isn't going to help is it?

Can't see King blowing it now. He is really up for this one.

Decent comeback from Wade. 9-6 to King and he only needs two legs but it all comes down to bottle. He should have the game to get over the line but Wade is like a new man. Too close to call.

I guarantee if I had a bet now I'd pick wrong.

What a game of darts this final is turning out to be. 10-8 to King but Wade is still in the hunt.

10-9 with the first to 11. What a game!

It's all about bottle.
I used to work with a guy who could play darts like a God in practice, but the moment it was 'game on' he could barely hit the board.
All in the mind.
