If Blackburn lose today and we beat West Brom or Spurs and QPR beat Stoke, Blackburn will be as good as down when they play Wigan a week on Monday.

Get in Chelsea. Why the heck couldn't the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs manage to take a point off QPR between them in recent weeks? They looked really ordinary.
I so hope Man City beat United tomorrow so that City have something to play for in their final game against QPR. We better get a result against Spurs in midweek, we must aim for 4 points minimum from our 2 upcoming home games. If only we could win them both, it would mean QPR have to win their last two games and hope we lose at Stoke. Come on, demand it!

QPR didn't just look ordinary. they were bloody awful. (fortunately). They probably knew they wouldn't get anything today, but the way in which they were ripped apart will have quite a marked effect on their morale, I think. The next game this afternoon also has massive implictions for us, so here's hoping they also get a tonking, so that our abysmal goal difference doesn't cost us on the last day.

QPR are a typical Mark Hughes team, they play well at home and look really good but away from home they are poor.

Since he took over his away record is P8 W0 D1 L7 but his home record is P9 W6 L2 D1. It is a pretty similar story to when he was Fulham manager.

Let's not forget that it doesn't matter who wins out of Utd and City. Mark Hughes was sacked by City and replaced by Mancini. The last thing that City will want is to be beaten at the Etihad by QPR!

Spurs are winning which should send Blackburn down with them having to play Wigan at home n Chelsea away.Spurs have been pretty average really which is good for Wedensday.BKD usually does well v Spurs at the Reebok.Lets not be giving any fucking daft free kicks away on Wedensday after that strike.Free Kicks have cost us v Fulham n Sunderland.N.gog n BKD got to be ultra careful in giving daft free kicks away in dangerous areas.Still think Spurs have been ordinary apart from the free kick.

I can't believe how bad Blackburn have been. They absolutely had to win today and yet they were set up so negatively and no attacking threat. They should have gone for it, set up as if it was a home game and attack Spurs who have been out of form.
Blackburn fans were right that Kean had to be sacked, it has proved it now.
It is now out of us and QPR for the final relegation spot. You have to favour us having got an extra game and the fact they have City away.
Current odds on betfair for relegation:
Blackburn 1.02
QPR 1.71
Bolton 2.58

Although mathematically speaking Blackburn are still in with a shout for survival, realistically speaking its now 1 from 4 teams for the last relegation position. If we can get a draw, or hopefully a win, on Wednesday then our chances of survival will be enormously boosted.

What a great day. Can't understand Kean's tactics though and I imagine Rovers fans are furious with the way they wimped out of it. Totally understand them going narrow and playing 8 at the back to keep the score down but I thought it was always going to be a case off letting Spurs run around for 70 minutes and then go for an equaliser/winner - especially as they desperately need a win. So as the time approaches Keam subs Yakubu - the one player you'd want lurking around if you're in need of a goal. I'd have thought he'd have sacrificed one of the many defenders and gone 433 with the big lad they brought on plus Yakubu and Hoilett which would have given them a chance. But it felt like they took a beating and then lied down. No guts.
Sadly for us, we know that OC is going to go for it from the off when we play Spuds so let's pray we don't get caught out too much at the back by their pacy attackers.

The phrase "happy as larry" is not one we'd normally associate with with Miss Tuck Shop. "We are doomed" and "Coyle Out" would be more in keeping, so I'm beginning to suspect foul play. If anyone knows Natasha socially, please check if there's a newly laid patio outside next time you visit.

People think I am all doom and gloom. Well I'm not.

All I ask from the players is 100% effort, I can ask no more. It's not Ngog's fault he's shite, it's Coyle's for keep picking him.

So when I see effort like I saw at Villa and Sunderland I am happy.

Don't worry if we lose to Spurs "old" natasha will be back.

i remember one of her fantastic threads on another forum

something like "get behind Coyle you wankers" or something similar.

then the next week "coyle is a fanny"

I suspect New Natasha is trying to pretend she is Old Natasha in order to mask her evil doings - the "I've always been like this" line doesn't really ring true somehow.
RIP ON
