That Hurts!

Alan Catterall, 54, from Runcorn was killed after being trapped in an industrial oven and burnt alive. Another worker turned the oven on, not realising Mr Catterall had gone inside, Liverpool Crown Court was told.

What a bloody horrible way to go, I can't imagine what the poor guy went through. What would be your least favourite way to go? Personally I regularly have nightmares about being buried alive, a very slow death.

Drowning has to be the worst way to go.

I would not like to fall into this!

It reminds me of a few years back when 2 men died when cleaning the chimney at Metal Box in Westhaughton when someone turned the furnace on by accident.

I'm talking shite, 2 contractors came to dismantle the chimney from the inside and used hot cutting equipment that sparked flammable residue in the chimney and they burned to death.

Watched one of those 9/11 documentaries a while back showing some poor bastards jumping out of windows near the top. What a choice that is - stay where you are and burn alive or possibly die in a collapsing building or just jump and hit the pavement at 100mph. Can't even begin to imagine what's goin through your mind on the way down.......
