Yeah I was thinking the same and hope so as well.

I didn't list the 3rd death due to him being a shit bag and not a human being.

There was something about a terrorist attack in Belgium on the same day as well?

As I understand it they went in after hearing the gunshots that killed the two hostages.

Absolutely. There is no point in trying to reason with religious nutters. They want to die, so killing them is definitely a win win solution.

I feel so sorry for the two innocents and their families. Tragic.

What should be our attitude to those who are insane/schizophrenic etc?

In the circumstances above, clearly he had to be put down before he killed others.
Are all members of ISIS or the Taliban insane? Do we try to kill all of them? Is there a distinction to be made between mentally ill lone wolves and groups allegedly fighting for their god in the most bloody and intolerant of ways?

My nephew is schizophrenic due to cannabis-use, and is considered too dangerous to be allowed to live with his mother, my sister, but I would not want him "exterminated" even if he went on to follow evil voices in his head. What is the answer?

But whatever you do don't threaten their human rights even though they enjoy killing innocent people:

What a waste of money defending their ludicrous complaints.

Absolutely horrendous, what can you even say after something like this.

Only thing we can hope is that it hardens Pakistani attitudes towards the taliban, as I understand it they aren't always as helpful as they could be.

I think we can be a little more specific than that.

A bunch of religious nutters are going around killing people because they don't share their particular brand of insanity.

Religion is at the heart of the problem and one particular faith is responsible for all these atrocities.

At least the judge told them to piss off. Just because they couldn't get a fancy lawyer to find loopholes to get them off attempted mass murder charges it breaches their human rights? What a load of bollocks. What about the human rights of innocent people. They have right to be able to go about their daily lives without being blown to pieces. They are just scumbags trying to take advantage of our soft as shit legal system. Show them that human rights of innocent citizens matter more and let them rot.

At least 126 people, most of them children, have been killed in a Taliban assault on an army-run school in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, officials say.

RIP little children.

Yes, but it's nothing to do with Islam of course.

True!

I'm just speechless from reading about what has gone on today.

The Stani authorities have always turned a blind eye to the activities of the Taliban. Perhaps this will cause a rethink in their security policies?

Look at the Bin Laden situation.

The Yanks spent years and billions of dollars trying to find him and it turns out he was living in Pakistan in pretty much plain sight (about a mile from their military academy of all places) all along.

Who knew....?

Well if you ask me, the Pakistan government for one - how could they have not known?

It's about time they came under some proper scrutiny from the international political community and were made to take more responsibility for dealing with some of the less savoury elements within their society.

As I've already said on this forum, the vast majority of the terror training camps that used to be in Afghanistan have been moved over the border into Pakistan and everybody knows it but because Pakistan has "played the game" and was until 2013 a member of the UN Security Council, nobody has challenged them too much about it for some odd reason.

It's time for the gloves to come off - Pakistan is a corrupt, 3rd world dump which harbours terrorists and religious nutters.

Summat needs to be done.

The problem is they're a nuclear power, the dance of them purporting to aid the wests fight against terror will continue.
