United boss Neil Warnock has confirmed he is unlikely to make Paul Robinson's move to Elland Road permanent.

The on-loan defender was omitted from the starting line-up against Leicester at the weekend and has now returned to Bolton Wanderers, where he will be available for the Trotters' final Premier League games.

"He had a slight stiff muscle but I saw the Leigh Bromby injury last week and I felt it wasn't right to play him," explained the boss.

"I don't think I'll be taking him next season and if that's the case then I didn't want him getting injured in a nothing game. I played young Zac in the middle and Pughy had to fill in at left back for one game."

There is no way Coyle will put Robbo in against the likes of Bale, walker and Modric. Football suicide.

Robbo is going to lead the team out then go into the stands to watch the game - hopefully.

Oh for the love of god, I would rather see quinton fortune back in a white shirt than him.

to be fair he only did it before because there was no choice, alonso and ricketts were injured

He dropped Robinson loads of times but injuries kept forcing him back in.

Robbo knows he is here to watch a couple of games and ride off into the sunset. Pretty much any other suggestion is a pisstake, in my humble opinion.

Isn't Robinson not even mentioned in the team line-up for this half of the season?
