That used to be a decent boozer but I am talking 20 odd years ago.

We used to go in the Locky Arms and the Beaumont then head up to the 3 Pigs and end up in the Tavern.

I've been going in the 3 pigs for just over 10 years now and it's got to the point where it's pretty much dead, 3 of us only go in to see the lads who won't change to another pub unfortunately.

The Beaumont Arms has recently been refurbished and is a really nice pub, the food isn't too bad (it's 2 for £10 just like the pigs) the chef makes a good effort.

The Lostock Arms is still shut down from what I can remember and the Tavern seems to be a good place for food, we generally go in every now and then for a few pints in winter as it's nice and cosy with the sofas and fire in the lounge.

I used to play football for them back "in the day".

We had a great coach / manager who may or may not have opened his own pub on Top Way and named it after himself and we all went and played for him in the Horwich Sunday League circa 1994.

And we were proper shit.

But I wore Tony Kelly's actual Bolton shorts and shirt in a game once.
