Joe Mason returns to Cardiff City

Joe Mason has returned to his parent club Cardiff City by mutual agreement.

The striker, who has enjoyed three separate loan spells with the Whites during the course of the 2013/14 and 2014/15 campaigns, scored ten goals in 27 appearances for the club.

The 23-year-old joined on a season-long loan with Wanderers back in August, but will now return to South Wales on a permanent basis.

Bolton Wanderers would like to thank Joe for his contributions during his time at the club and wish him well in his future endeavours.

Lennon really testing the patience of fans now.

Lightweight and injury prone.

Not sure why Lennon has got shut?

Because he's shit and injured for about 6 weeks.

I hadn't realised he was out with a torn hamstring.

We really could do with some strikers now as we really are getting a bit thin up front.

what would be the point of keeping him if he's injured? I presume we must pay part of his wages while he's on loan so it makes sense to send him back and save the money.

10 goals in 27 appearances.  I'll wager that's better than all the rest of them put together. Anyhow it doesn't matter if he is injured etc....no use to us at the moment.  If fit I would have liked to have seen him under Lennon for a few games.
Another wage we can use for somebody else I suppose.

So that's officially only Davies and Heskey as our only recognised strikers? (Apart from Wilkinson)
