I hate Wigan for a number of reasons, not least of which is that they didn't exist for a large part of our history and when they got going they nicked a huge tranche of Bolton fans. Folk from Hindley, Ince and all parts west of Leigh traditionally supported the Whites.
I don't especially hate Forest (or Dougie for that matter Smile) but if Forest win they'll move back ahead of us in the table so I can't decide who I want to win tonight.
Despite still being 15 points off the playoffs - and only 7 above the drop zone - should we still be looking up the table (and therefore wanting Forest to lose) or looking over our shoulders and wanting Wigan to lose?

Personally I think Lennon's loans have given us the strength in depth to finally think about climbing the table - even though our next 3 games are very tough indeed so maybe I'll break a lifetime tradition and hope that Wigan win or it's a draw.

Who would you prefer to win and why?

Wigan for me as Forest are above us at the moment and also to show how Dougie really fucked us up with his clueless tactics.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

I would like to be above both for the whole season if possible. Wigan are no danger of getting anywhere near us so i don't mind them taking this one.

Good managers usually find a way to succeed.

Wow! I've only just noticed Wigan's position in the league and how far they are from safety. What a cluster**ck it has been for clubs relegated from the Premier League in the past couple of years.

I don't particularly have anything against them, apart from appointing a racist scumbag of course.

Given the reaction teams have to getting a new manager, I'm beginning to think that all managers should only be given 2 month contracts. If every club bought into a managerial merry-go-round system where they're rotated around the clubs on a frequent basis, surely every team would win every game all the time - both teams walking aways from games with 3 points - resulting in everyone ending the season on maximum points. Everyone would be promoted, no-one relegated and the whole thing would still be a load of old rubbish. Anyone with me?

You could work for the Sky / Premier League cabal with ideas like that, Fin.

Steady on....

Right? I'll bet Gartside has already proposed it though.

I believe he has.

But with an addendum which states that any teams whose name start with a "B" and end with a "olton Wanderers" receive an annul stipend of £500 million, funded by the other clubs.

And free pies.

Think it got kicked back because of the pie bit.
