It's on umpteen times a week but there are still some funny episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond. The one about the suitcase is hilarious. I used to like Everybody Hates Chris as well when that was on.

Can't be doing with Only Fools And Horses. The writing is OK but the overdone gormless Cockney accents all the time is just annoying.

Difficult to choose a favourite, but if pushed I would say 'Frasier'.

Closely followed by Rising Damp, Inbetweeners, IT Crowd, US Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm & Cheers.

I suspect I'll soon be adding Big Bang Theory to that list.

Interesting that you cite Rising Damp as a favourite because this is exactly how I've always pictured you:

That's a compliment, Miss Jones was always hot.

I wish you hadn't put that image in my head, especially as I'm just about to eat a salami sausage.

Unfortunately, as a series, Bad Education is no more, although there is talk of a film.  But for a BBC 3 comedy lasting 3 series - it was a success and it was one of my favourites.

Crims was also good

Cockroaches, have to admit I have not seen, apart from the trailer and it seemed like it would have been good - was it similar, in vein, to Plebs, by any chance?

Another two to watch out for are Siblings and Uncle, which is currently showing its second series.

Bluestone 4 2 is coming back in the autumn and so is cuckoo as well as The Job Lot and Vicious as well as Cuckoo

We seem to be doing decent comedies, again, in the UK - just a shame being spoiled by people like Leigh Francis (aka Keith Lemon)

Yes, I remember it to - very funny.

It reminded me in some ways of the US TV show 'Soap'.

I agree. I had forgotten Soap. Very funny and I was sorry to see it finish.
