As posted in another thread I had a Heart attack on Saturday which at my age is shocking, I had a couldn't give a fuck lifestyle and ate and smoked like a trooper, always thinking I'm invincible, well now I know I'm not, this is not a sympathy seeking post, but a message to you guys..... look after yourselves.

I thought it was indigestion, but it went on for ages, never felt any pains in my arm as they say you do, but felt like a crushing unbearable pain in my chest, had a stent fitted and felt ok since, but the worry will always be there now.

You'll be fine now Martin. They'll put you on a cocktail of aspirin, beta blockers, ace inhibitors and statins so you have no chance of a repeat performance....

Are you sure you weren't just watching the "highlights" from last season?

Besides cutting out booze and fags, Martin, a healthy diet, regular exercise, and a knowledge of how to combat stress (see a reliable practitioner to set up daily attention to limit stress, the biggest hidden  killer) can obviate the need for so many pills. Every cigarette and alcoholic drink does harm to your body.
