So other than footy, what is everyones other interests and hobbies.

What little time i have between working and spending time with the kids i play computer games like the geek i am.

Other than watching films and tv shows as well though i dont really have a "hobby" in the typical sense. I know breaders and bonce like star gazing which is quite cool. So what else?

(Stalking brucie isnt a hobby, its a crime)

I collect hip-hop CDs from the late 80's to early 90's. I have a room full of them, over 4000 at last count. I spend hours surfing the net looking for rare gems.

I also play tennis and squash.

I used to play a lot of poker online, at casinos and with friends. Made a good amount of money, never enough to quit work but it got me through Uni comfortably. Don't have the time anymore though which is frustrating.

At the moment I love cooking, I find it relaxing after work to have a couple of beers and put something together. Made a fresh beetroot risotto the other night (the Mrs is a veggie).

Other than that it's just finding music, I like all genres but mainly based around Hip Hop and growing my vinyl collection.

Life is good for me. A simpleton is easily pleased.
I suppose there is a difference between a hobby and a pastime. Reading, tennis, walking for instance I always see as pastimes.
A real hobby has to involve a shed of some sort,a stack of manuals, and the ability to bore people rigid about whatever it is you're into.

That's how you spell it.

I play golf quite a bit, most frustrating game in the world. I got my first ever hole in one on Saturday. Play Darts, Pool and Snooker (very badly).

well done, getting the ball through that windmill isn't easy.

My hobby is writing. Had a bit of success, but nothing major. It possibly isn't a true hobby as I hope to make some more money from it.  I used to train racing greyhounds (bet that surprised some of you) and I am looking into doing a course on stained glass in the Autumn. I am fascinated by it, and would love to do something creative...if I can't get a place on that, I might look at a pottery course...thanks for this thread, you have inspired me to actually do something about getting new hobbies.

Im half way through writing my first "serious" novel (like bread said, arent most people Smile ) I have done a few kids stories mainly for my little ones and had a bit of interest in them but nothing concrete yet. Will keep plugging away of course.

Your very welcome, trying to focus my attention elsewhere Smile

If nothing else,it keeps me away from buying yet more BWFC memorabilia, which is more an obsession than a hobby.

I've been surprised at the steady rise in the numbers of people collecting vinyl.

All mine disappeared years ago. How does the vinyl/CD sound compare '74.
