Louis Theroux - Genius?

Finally got round to watching the Louis Theroux documentary last night about the decline of the porn film industry.

Again, a topic I'm not really interested in but Theroux made it compulsive viewing. I love the guy, I don't think there's a better interviewer on British tv.

Do you love his stuff or am I alone in thinking he's brilliant?

You're not alone he is brilliant, i'm guessing you have seen it but when he went to that high security prison in america, I thought that was probably the best documentary he has done.

You are not the only one..... He is the master of these style documentaries. Definitely unmissable every time.

He's brilliant. He went off the boil a little when he started the celebrity based series but he has really got back on track. The recent ones about people with Alzheimers and with the Autistic youngsters were exceptional. I haven't had chance to watch the one revisiting the porn industry but I remember watching the original one and it was compulsive.

I think he's superb, I agree with Aaron i thought the piece inside the American Jail was brilliant.

No I don't like him. He always seems smug and self satisfied to me.

He certainly has a knack. Some of his interviews are ' must see' TV.

I don't agree. I think he genuinely does like some of the people he's interviewing and isn't scared of putting himself down.
