Haha I love all the hate wrestling gets. It's more physical than most sports I know. The moves performed do still hurt. How else would you explain the types of injuries the wrestlers get? Yes there are some theatrics, but thats part of the entertainment value. Just like when boxer's trash talk at weigh in, and ufc fighters talk shit to one another too. It's to build up the hype.

Yes, but they then get into a ring and kick the shit out of one another. There's no script.

Actors get hurt doing stunts. Michael Crawford is more of an athlete than any wrestling ponce. And he's about 70.

Most of the match isnt scripted, the winners are ore determined in order to go along with theb
storyline, they put the shows on themselves. They do this 7 days a week, 365 days a year, as well as working out and finding time for the fans. I don't know of many other sports people who do that. In addition to that many wretlers have gone on to sports such as ufc and been quite successful.

I've never met an adult in real life that likes wrestling. Either they're ashamed to admit that they do or they agree with me about it being for children

It's a fair point as Ali was that weight when he first moved up from light heavy although he was nearer 15 st towards the end of his career. But Ali always beat bigger men like Foreman by using guile, movement around the ring and his main weapon, incredible hand speed.
In his prime and when he was focussed, I don't think anyone could have taken Ali and if he had the advantages of modern diet and training he'd probably be a lot bigger anyway.

However his reach was 78 inches - considered long at the time, but well short of Joshua and Martin who are both 80+

It would be interesting to have Mike Tyson, Ali, The Mummy, Fury, Klitschko,Bruno Smokin Joe all in the same ring boxing each other .
