ive never posted in this thread but my musical tastes are...

I hate most chavvy 'dance' music, especially the stuff that's out nowadays with the so called 'RnB' artists - Ndubz, akon all that crap...actually riles me up.

that said, I have a small amount of fondness for really old dance music, such as older 'kevin n Perry' style trance, reminds me of going on holiday when i was younger with no real worries in my life... also, is it was what most people listened to in school at the time I was growing up, I still own a few old school 'Bonkers' albums... Im shamed to say occasionally they come out in the car when i need waking up...

nowadays I generally listen to Indie type stuff, I've seen a few bands live - Oasis (twice) Arctic monkeys, fratelies, Ian Brown, Noel Gallagher and i have tickets for the friday stone roses concert

I wonder what they're gonna do with GTA5 - obviously more of the same, but surely some new elements, a refresh.

Games have moved on quite a bit since GTAIV.

This was brilliant from GTAIV music wise.

I don't know, I just wish they would announce a date. That trailer came out in about October last year and there's been nothing since. So it's looking like 2013 or maybe, if we're very lucky, Christmas 2012 at the very earliest for GTA V. All we really know is it is set in Los Santos, the fictional Los Angeles in the GTA Universe.

I loved GTA IV. I used to have dreams about it. I took a good 6 months to complete the story line when it first came out in 2008, exploring all the side missions and various intricacies. I replayed it through last year and completed The Liberty City Mile trophy achievement - completing the story in 24 hours gameplay.

When GTA V does come out, you'll see very little of me on here for the first few days, that's for sure.

Im sure you know but Rockstar North is based in Edinburgh and they were hiring a ream of game testers recently... probably a sign that they're a fair way down the road with it.
