David Barby R.I.P.

Bargain Hunt favourite David Barby has died. I feel very sad. I never met the man but he was a big part of my life. Every single day I Sky+ Bargain Hunt & Flog It and watch them eating my tea at night.

David, you will be missed.

Will anyone else miss David Barby?

I was never a fan of his. R.i.p. though.

Of boredom.

Was he in a room with you for 5 minutes?

I thought he was an ok guy, preferred him in other programmes though, where he seemed to have more opportunity to show his character

I once auditioned for Bargain Hunt with a mate from work. Two blokes came all the way from Bristol to do a "screen test". They gave us an old toy car and asked us to say what we thought of it for 3 minutes, while being filmed. We didn't have a clue what to say. We never heard back from the BBC.

So whenever I watch Bargain Hunt these days and see some dumb fucker on there I feel like a total failure. It could be what started my hooker habit.

I do find it quite interesting that our high flying marketing champion gets home from each day as a champion of industry and watches coverage of working class thickos shuffling round a car boot sale looking for underpriced tat.

Thats a shame! I met him once, his auction house was where i went to college.

We saw him in town one day and got a picture with him (thinking we were funny)
