BEN Amos is set to sign for Millwall on loan for the rest of the season - effectively spelling the end of his Bolton career.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper has fallen out of favour at Wanderers and has not played for the club since the start of the 2016/17 season.
After mixed fortunes in a loan spell at Cardiff City, Amos secured a season at Charlton Athletic in League One last season and got rave reviews at The Valley.
He worked with goalkeeping coach Lee Turner, whose move to Millwall in the summer always made a move to the Lions look most likely. Reports in South London this morning claim the deal is now done.

Ipswich Town were also credited with an interest in the former Manchester United man.
Amos is now in the final year of a four-year contract given to him by Neil Lennon after a successful loan spell from Old Trafford in 2015.
He endured a difficult first season at Bolton, which was beset with financial problems and ended in relegation.
More recently, Amos was unknowingly thrust into the middle of the players’ pay dispute when he did not receive his June salary from Bolton.

Bolton chairman Ken Anderson revealed the players’ wage was in excess of £1million a year and the highest paid player on the club’s books.
He explained his decision to withhold Amos’s salary in his chairman's notes, issued on the official website.
“When the salaries were paid at the end of last month, discussions were ongoing with two clubs about a possible loan / transfer of the player.
“The player had publicly stated that he was happy to continue his stay at the club where he was on loan last season. Indeed the player’s agent was also talking to clubs about a possible loan / transfer.”

Better than Charlton last season then, didn't they only pay 25%? Still 8K a week going out though.
