I don't get it myself but will back the new guy of course.

Some folks are all excited about a guy with zero management experience other than pub football and we have to pay money to get him. If in fact he is the best thing since sliced bread then surely we are just a stepping stone to his next job wouldn't you think.

With Keith we had a Bolton boy who loves the club and probably be just fine in this league and an agreed upon 5 year plan (supposedly anyhoo).

Allerdyce was pretty inexperienced at the time we brougt him in, he stuck around long enough to leave a lasting impression, so quite excited about a new start with a young hungry manager.

We'll probably end up with Ron Atkinson.

What will be in his favour is that he has no baggage, will no doubt be fired up with the opportunity, and as a result may well bring a new attitude to the tired and listless one we've had for the last 2 years.
New club (in effect), new manager, new players, new ideas, and a fresh start. Why not?
FV have played it pretty cannily so far, so I for one am happey to go with their ideas.
Right now, I'd go with Ricketts as well.

Love this, don’t care if I know nothing about him. Everything sounds good, far more interesting than Clough so hope we get him.

I agree, however, my pre-season optimism and enthusiasm usually takes a kicking somewhere along the line. Its about time we had a decent season.
