Bobby Ball

Shocked to hear of his passing, I remember seeing them at Farnworth vets, really funny guy.

RIP Bobby

Never considered he'd be suited to acting, but he was actualy quite good in Not Going Out.

Just when we all need a laugh, another funny guy passes, very sad.

Knew a bloke regular in my local of years ago who reminded me of Bobby Ball - lovely guy, bad jokes good heart, same accent. Truck driver but he didn't wear braces and was taller and a mate's dad. Cyril's really long gone now and BB going reminds me of how much that generation are becoming a footnote of history* as we revolutionaries that saved the world from nuclear holocaust will be soon.
Less than 10 year older than me, BB was a bit of a ted - not quite ready for the social change that would come - but classic music hall i.e the style we were brought up on.
*Not sure how much history our species has left the way things are going TBH...
