Who do you want?

Ok just for arguments sake coyle was sacked this week, who would you like to see be appointed the next manager of BWFC.

Give me your top 3 picks and your reasons for appointing him.

It's difficult compiling a list because there's no knowing just how realistic each option is.
None jump off the page but there's plenty I'd be satisfied with. It's a chance we have to take.
Of those I'm highly confident would come to Bolton, my choice would be Billy Davies.

Keane or Neville.

I would back Billy Davies or Curbishley though.

I would love harry redknapp but i cant see that one happening

My top 3 would be:

1. Curbishley - ok he has been out of the game a while but I am sure he could do a cracking job with our current squad.

2. Avram Grant - Not sure if he is in management at the moment but I think he is a decent choice if we were to go down the foreign route.

3. Redknapp - Would never happen just for the fact I doubt he would move up north but I think he would be a great appointment if we really wanted to get promoted.

Yes, Harry Redknapp would at least play some decent stuff, but he'd never drop down this far.

Di Canio is my first choice. He'd bring a bit of passion to the team and wouldn't be scared to bang a few heads together - he isn't in management to make friends.

Second choice would be Fernando Hierro. Great player and would open doors to players that Owen Coyle never could.

Billy Davies is a bit of a dull appointment, but he's done well at this level - problem is he'd be out of his depth in the PL if he got us there.

Curbishley hasn't had a job for 4 years....there must be a reason.

Well he's walking the walk at Swindon, promoted last season and 4th in league one at present.

He would bring a different style of management than what coyle has that's for sure.

Gus Poyet, if he would come.

Poyet is doing well at Brighton. They have a brand new stadium with a decent fan base plus the weather is warmer down south.

Curbishley, you'd have to be an incompetent asshole to pick Roy Keane one that knew fuck all about football.

I think Curbishley wants a return to football but unfortunately will think he's too good for Bolton.

He has been unpopular at both of his clubs so what gives him his ego, I don't know.

Curbishley has a good football brain and a decent track record of developing young talent - which is what a new manager would have to do.

Hierro is a genius and would get the respect of all the players immediately, but is currently working as an assistant and I suspect he's settled where he is.

Redknapp needs money to operate - something we don't have.

Billy Davies? maybe, I'm undecided.

Of the list I'd probably go for Curbs, but....

We need someone who is used to working with no budget, can develop young players and has inspirational qualities - and is affordable so I was thinking of the likes Karl Robinson, Paul Dickov and Neale Cooper. Neale has done wonders in the past but Hartlepool are really struggling this season and I'm not sure how much that's down to him or the lack of resources. Karl is doing well but has had a bit of money to do it and Paul fits the mould, is a reknowned battler but has shown a slightly cavalier attitude a la OC in the past although that may have been down to Board pressure.

My choice would be Uwe Rosler.

He did amazing things in Norway and wasn't appreciated for it and now he's doing great things at Brentford - again with limited resources. But he gives young players a chance, is tactically good and he's definitely ambitious. My only reservation is that he doesn't seem to get on well with club owners/boards for some reason. On several occasions in Norway his teams have exceeded expectation on the pitch but then he's been sacked. Certainly think he'd be worth looking at.

Rosler has done well at Brentford but if I had a choice I would go for Jose Mourinho who seems to have fallen out with Real Madrid.
