Eoin Doyle has been made fifth favourite by the bookies to end up as top scorer in League One next season.
The Wanderers striker bagged 19 goals in League Two last term to help Ian Evatt’s men secure automatic promotion and has now scored 44 times in his last two campaigns.
He also scored 11 times for Bradford City in his last spell in the third tier, a year in which the Bantams finished up in the bottom four.
Doyle is priced at 16/1 with most bookmakers to top the charts this time around and his record in League One reads 46 goals scored in exactly 100 appearances for Bradford City, Oldham Athletic and Chesterfield.
For the more adventurous Wanderers fan, Amadou Bakayoko has been priced at 100/1 to finish up as top scorer, with a similar price offered for Nathan Delfouneso.
Wigan Athletic new boy Charlie Wyke is favourite, having scored 25 for Sunderland last season. The striker is currently priced between 9/1 and 12/1.
Ipswich Town’s Joe Piggott, signed from AFC Wimbledon where he scored 20 league goals last term, is second favourite, ranked between 10/1 and 12/1.
Charlton Athletic’s Jayden Stockley, who signed permanently at The Valley this summer after a successful loan spell last season, is also fancied, with prices as low as 10/1.
Oxford United’s Matty Taylor ranges from 11/1 to 16/1, with Portsmouth’s John Marquis between 16/1 and 18/1.
Ex-Peterborough United man Mohamed Eisa, who will come up against Wanderers on the first day of the season for MK Dons, is given a similar chance to Doyle, with 16/1 across the board.
Sunderland’s Will Grigg also has a wide spread of odds, rated anywhere between 16/1 and 25/1.
Wanderers remain sixth favourite with most bookmakers to get promotion, with odds ranging between 9/2 and 11/2. Sunderland remain outright favourites.
But if you do not expect Evatt’s men to have a successful campaign, you can also get odds of between 6/1 and 8/1 on them being relegated.
You can also get between 12/1 and 18/1 on Wanderers lifting the League One title in May next year.
