The league fixtures will be released tomorrow!

Who do you want out opener to be against?
Home or away?

I’d personally would like one of the promoted league 2 teams at home, which on paper should be an easier opener.

I don't care. I'll just be glad to be talking footy again. ::bwfc::

Let’s all chip in a tenner, winning guess gets the money. If no winner it all goes to charity.

My guess is Lincoln at home

Are you on drugs? The promoted teams will be full of confidence with nothing to lose. No thanks.

Fleetwood or Morecambe at home would suit me.

Derby with just 5 contracted players and no keeper, would do for me!

Bolton Wanderers' 2022/23 League One fixture list in full

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Wanderers will kick off the 2022/23 League One season with a trip to Portman Road to face Ipswich Town on Saturday, July 30.

Ian Evatt’s men recorded an emphatic 5-2 victory in the fixture last term thanks to goals from Eoin Doyle, Josh Sheehan, George Johnston and a Dapo Afolayan brace.

The Whites host Derby County on Boxing Day following the Rams’ relegation from the Championship.

The sides haven’t met at the UniBol since September 2018 when Craig Noone was on target in a narrow 1-0 victory.

Wanderers make the trip across the Pennines to Oakwell Stadium to face Barnsley on New Year’s Day - another side who were relegated to the third tier last season.

The Whites head to Exeter on Friday, April 7 before hosting Cambridge three days later over the Easter weekend.

And Evatt's men end the campaign with a trip to Bristol Rovers, who were promoted from League Two on the final day in dramatic fashion.

Bolton ran out 2-0 winners on their last trip to the Memorial Stadium, with Luke Murphy and Daryl Murphy on target either side of half-time.

Other notable away trips include MK Dons on Tuesday, September 13, Portsmouth on Saturday, September 24, Derby on Saturday, January 21 and Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, March 18.

As the fixture list is now out, I can now plan Radio Nuts.

Radio Nuts is available for the opening game against Ipswich away on the 30th June and against Wycome at home on the 6th August.

Radio Nuts will then commmence again on the 10th September against Cheltenham away for the rest of the season.

Tough opening match and I f***** hate going to Portman Rd - we lose every time I go and the place is a sh*thole so I'm going to watch it at home.

I've put June 3rd in my diary though.

Yes a tough opening fixture that one but we have to play there some time so hopefully we can get them before they hit their stride? Derby at home on Boxing Day and another “Home game” for me against Barnsley on New Years Day. How good is that? You obviously can’t really say now but that run in at the end looks pretty easy if we’re up and about as expected?

Very tough start and a reasonable finish, gutted to miss the first home match, away on holiday with the grand kids, was hoping for home start and away first week in August but not to be.

If for once we can start strong then we should be in with a shout.

It's hardly a mouthwatering set of fixtures but at least Derby at home is an attractive Boxing Day match.

Maybe with it being the opening day BWFC will finally take a large ie 1,500 plus following to Ipswich
