Wanderers to host Solihull Moors in FA Cup first round 13667165

Wanderers will welcome non-league outfit Solihull Moors to the Toughsheet Community Stadium in the FA Cup opening round.

Solihull currently sit third in the National League table, winning eight of their opening 15 fixtures and losing just once.

The sides have never met in a competitive fixture. The Whites’ last cup tie against non-league opposition was against Stockport in 2021.

The draw took place live on ITV1 and was carried out by Paul Parker and Jobi McAnuff. First-round ties are scheduled to be played on the weekend of Saturday, November 4.

Wanderers were knocked out by Barnsley in the opening round last season following a 2-1 defeat at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

The Yorkshire club took control through a Ricardo Santos own goal and a thumping strike by Adam Phillips, but Jon Dadi Bodvarsson pulled one back 10 minutes from time.

The Whites have won the famous competition four times, most recently in 1958 when Nat Lofthouse scored a brace against Manchester United at Wembley.
