Let's not get too excited about our December performances. 7 points from 18 in December is nothing to
write home about... especially against less formidable opponents. We
can only hope for a brace against Leeds and some good transfers in
January... as well as Holden and Wheater making their reappearances soon. Maybe the New
Year will bring us to the top six... but only if we can get a run of
play. Changes must be made and we should not be lulled by today's win... just happy about it but knowing full well we need defensive help. Nice to see us start the New Year with a GD of zero. Now to get to the plus side of that. Happy New Year everyone!

The daft thing is, that we don't know which team is going to turn up from game to game. We lack consistency.

Only four league games in January.

Leeds away

Millwall home

Palace away

Peterborough home.

I will settle for 8 points from those four games. Win the 2 at home and draw the 2 away.

Palace away will be interesting to say the least, if any manager can come up with a gameplan its our Dougie, but Palace players will want to piss on his bonfire mmmmm, hard call that one.

Going on Decembers results, we'll beat Leeds, Millwall & Palace and then lose to Peterborough.

Leeds away - Draw

Millwall home - Lose

Palace away - Draw

Peterborough home. - Win

I just have bad feeling about the Millwall game, as RT says you just don't know what bolton side is going to turn up. If we hit top performances in each game you could well see maximum points from each game but you just know it won't happen.

I think 8 points is a realistic target , anything more would be a massive bonus.

7 Points, we have been in the win, draw, lose pattern all season. Don't fancy our chances at Palace, but should be capable of beating Millwall and Peterborough at home. Millwall have lost Wood who was scoring a lot of their goals and despite recent history against teams we should beat I expect a win against Peterborough.

.

Probably about right. I would of been more confident and said 9 points a month or 2 ago. Under DF the inconsistancy and our defence is still the same so 4 points is a fair guess.

So we're all agreed then. Anything could happen and we haven't got a clue.

So we're definitely going to get 4, 5, 7, 8 or 12 points from those games? That's reassuring.
