Sorry pal!

You can't blame me for being so confident though, even freedman said they'd be playing!

Well the team for the game tonight has come in, Holden and Vela start but no place on the bench or starting 11 for Davies or Wheats.

Make or break tonight. If we can't beat Oldham Freedman has to walk.

Bonnar -

Just had all the pictures in of Stuart Holden from Leyland.Great to see him back in a bwfc shirt. Looks as fit as ever, not an ounce of fat

Man at the game - he just gone off 70 mins played well..looks tired tho now

he just passed us said he was ok but had big ice pack round his knee, hope its just a precaution!!!

Bonnar - Yes, let's definitely hope. How does Vela look?

Man at game - he just gone off lasted 80 mins..played solidly, did alot.of ground work.didnt look like he wanted to come off

Alan Nixon is also at the game:

Stuart looks stronger than last time. Still a bit to go. Josh is a solid lad. Took some whacks. Both on right road. Bit to do

Wouldn't worry about that (Ice pack). Bound to swell. It's how quickly he recovers.

Good to see they both came through without picking up any injuries or knocks.

Report from Bolton News

Stuart Holden came through tonight's first game back after 15 months out injured.

The American, who has made only one appearance in the last 22 months, played 65 minutes for the development squad in a 3-0 victory over Oldham Athletic in the Manchester Senior Cup on his return from a knee injury.

And double good news is that fellow midfielder Josh Vela also emerged unscathed on his first appearance back after four months out injured.

He played 80 minutes and, like Holden, showed no reaction to his injury.

After seeing Holden's return, Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman said: "It was great to see him out there. To get 65 minutes, we are very pleased, and a very good 65 minutes at that.

Wanderers' win came courtesy of goals from Jack Sampson, Chris Lester and Tom Eaves.

Aside from the Holden/Vela return i'm glad Eaves bagged a goal, I still have a bit of hope for the lad.

I've written him off a tad early I think, I thought coyle signed him on the basis of that hat trick against us. I hope he proves me wrong.
