The Drugs Thread

I thought I'd start this thread in honour of scottjames joining the site. What is everyones views on drugs and what are your favourites?

I think drugs are brilliant if you can handle them. Legalise them all. The war on drugs was lost years ago.

My personal favourites over the years are marijuana, lsd, e's and magic mushrooms. Great stuff.

If you're under 18 and reading this ignore everything I've just said and just remember this....

the "war" on drugs is a f'n joke.

I shake my head every time i see a "bust" of a few plants, and they act like they've solved world hunger.

Hello Dave, i think there great if done in moderation, there better than red wine IMO .

Temple Bolton was my Es days, fucking great, but all those mentioned are great really.

I've never seen the need for them tbh.

Even as a kid many years back I never needed to drink for Dutch courage to ask the girls out, like they did. I think tbh I got to go out with more girls with being sober than many other blokes far better looking than me but pissed out their brains.

Ok, time moves on and drugs are probably as popular as drink was back in my day but I still don't really get the idea for the need to 'get off your head' or whatever the phrase is these days, I'm quite happy to be me, I don't feel the need to lift my spirits or chill myself out, or anything else.

Don't get me wrong I'm no angel, I enjoy a drink and a laugh - I just don't feel the need for artificial stimulus to help me along.

I've never tried non-prescription drugs, I've never felt the need to - so perhaps I'm missing out on some of life's experiences. If so my loss I guess but I'm happy as I am.

I do worry about my daughter though. I've no doubt at her age she must have come into contact with drugs through her peers. Maybe she's tried some, maybe she's not - that would be her choice (and I'd probably be the last to know anyway). I want her to have a long and happy life and I wouldn't like her to get dependent on anything or anyone but I can't live it for her nor would I want too.

As long as she's safe and happy, then that would be enough for me.

It's a ‘just say no’ from me - but I would guess a majority of people under the age of 30 have probably dabbled with them by now.

back in the 70's i was arrested for riding my bike down covent garden naked. i was so high on the white stuff i thought the cops were angels and the police van a spaceship. i was locked in the cells for a night where i got punched by elvis and wanked off by marilyn monroe.

I don't do illegal drugs, people who do tend to be complete wastes of human life. (watch Jeremy Kyle sometime, you'll see what I mean!) Leave the dope to the Wigan Latics dopes is my motto.
