If Wolves don't win tonight, Barnsley will remain in 21st place - just 8 points behind us with a game in hand.
Despite a disastrous spell earlier in the season and having just come off on the wrong end of an 8 goal crowdpleaser away to Bristol City, the Tykes have built a strong home record in 2013. Since Xmas, they've beaten Leeds, Millwall, Boro and Wolves at home, plus a home draw with Ipswich. They also beat Burnley in the Cup at home - they remain undefeated at home in 2013.
Can we put on a performance and bring that record to an end? I'd like to think so. How should Dougie approach this one and is there a case for playing the same system he's used at the Reebok in the last couple of games? Or will we see a return to 451?

I think he'll stick with two upfront (N'gog & C.Davies)

Despite their decent home record they are very poor, i expect a win although we aren't that great away from home.

1-2 Davies (2)

Two wins on the bounce is not the time to go defensive. Confidence is high, we should play the same way.

Hopefully mark Davies will be back for the Blackburn game, he's twisted his knee but has no ligament damage.

David Flitcroft - the manager. Bolton born and Bolton bred. I bet he'd love to turn us over. Unbeaten in his first 9 games as Barnsley manager. My hope is that Barnsley defend like their manager did - 3rd/4th tier standard.

Craig Davies to get a brace on his return to his old club. Lets attack the bastards and get the 3 points wrapped up in the first half like we did against Hull.

I've seen him and his brother at Bolton games years ago.

I'm wondering if Dougie will try to play the same system despite Mavies being out. With Holden looking off the pace and Medo being defensive-minded will Eagles be Dougie's secret weapon to support 2 strikers?
Having gone from golden boy to being sidelined, maybe this is exactly the right moment to start him?

We could always shift Lee to the right and bring Alonso on the left wing, then have Ricketts and LB and Mears at RB?

I think we will win today and Craig David will go back to his old club and score a couple. They won't be able to live with us. Go for bolton minus one on your accumulator.

I'm just waiting for my lift. Looking forward to today. I think we'll see Medo replace Mark Davies and Craig Davies will replace Sordell. We'll be too good for Barnsley today...

3-1 C.Davies, Chungy, Dawson.

Come On You Whites!!!

just mentioned on another thread that DF will probably play Eagles in the Mavies role behind the front two. Can't see him switching formation now after the recent run.

I'll go for a 2-1 to us with Cravies scoring the winner

I think we'll lose comfortably today sadly.

The booing wankers will be out in force again because we "flirted with the playoffs"

3-0 to Barnsley.
