NIXON UPDATE - Spearing's toe!

Spearing went off with just a minute or so to half time, which suggests to me he won't be playing on Tuesday.

Pratley is on ten yellow cards I believe which is an automatic two game ban I think.

Medo's not played too much football recently and I don't think the plan was to play him in both today's game and against Leicester.

Looking at the bench today we didn't have any more midfielders on it apart from the young kid from Palace who is a winger recovering from an operation.

Don't want to piss on anyone’s chips but we might be a bit light in this area on Tuesday.

What will Dougie do about it?

Shouldn't have loaned our best player out to a rival.

Freedman said in his post-match interview that is was nothing serious, so (thankfully), he should be available for Tuesday's game.

Just heard Dougies press conference after the game, Spearing will be ok for Tuesday he reckons.

Apparently he has had a problem with his toe recently and was unsure about risking him today but will be fine for Tuesday.

Holden taken off early in his game today... hopefully not a serious problem.

He came through about 77 mins, he was probably taken off for tiredness rather than injury.

Bang me in the centre alongside Medo, I'll win us the game.

Just checked and you are correct... I had seen an earlier note saying he was taken off early. I stand corrected and if need be, we should recall him.

I think you are correct there. The loan has a 24 hour recall in the contract I think

You lot are forgetting that Doogie is a tactical genius .... he will play SKD on the right wing ...Ngog at Center half ....and have Wheater clogging it in midfield.....problem solved.

More worrying for me is that the Leicester game is Dawsons final match for us. I hope Wheater or Ream can step up to the [plate for our final 3 games.

- Think u will know tomorrow when injury fully assessed. Some players can go thru pain. That's also an issue.

Spearing is wearing a walking boot, he posted a picture online thats being circulated.
