I voted for maybe as maybe he wanted to just live his youth and never wanted to grow up after losing his childhood due to singing in the Jackson 5's plus all the beatings his dad gave him.
The way he became and his odd behavior came down to his childhood and some of his fame in my opinion.

I just read a fan on a forum say its ok for MJ because he had an unhappy childhood and he was just misunderstood and his records are good. Ok so its alright for Gary Glitter then? said another, no he or she replied glitters records were crap.

I heard at the height of the investigation he wanted to go out, his minder reminded him of his troubles, and suggested staying in and ordering a dvd, Jackson said ok can we get aladin, minder says no Michael best just to get a dvd.

I think he was just a very unhappy man who was fixated on never having had a real childhood. He never quite got what was acceptable behaviour with and around children until after he had three of his own.

I think he was seriously messed up by the abuse he got from his father. I don't think he was a bad man whatsoever but his obsession with kids staying over was very strange.

Mr Khan over at Fulham clearly isn't an MJ fan. He's told Al Fayed to get rid of the statue outside Craven Cottage. And quite right too,imo.
