Luis Suarez is off

Liverpool have agreed a fee of around £75M and he will sign a 5 year deal with Barcelona.

Great signing for barca, one of the best I'm the world without a doubt. Be interesting to see him play second fiddle to Messi though.

No, not what I said.

I said most fans would forgive playing defensively (at least in the short term) if it brought them success. IE if Bolton got promoted next season playing the same style as we did this season then not many would give a shit.

Obviously I never saw Dagliesh play but for me Suarez is the best player I have ever seen in a Liverpool shirt.

A strange thing to say but I reckon now he has gone Gerrard will hang up his boots at the end of next season.

Suarez style more like Keegan than Dalglish. Did similar things.

Imo Roger Hunt was the best player to wear a Liverpool shirt. Closely followed by Chris Lawler and Terry McDermott.

Billy Liddell must rate very highly.

I'd work with Suarez being the best player I've seen play for Liverpool but my favourite Liverpool player is remarkably not Kevin Keegan, but John Barnes. Keegan comes second.
