If Spearing was from Liechtenstein, we'd all be laughing this off.

As it happens, he's English, and as such there's a believability about this story.

I kind of hope he goes, but also think he might come good in time.

Mark Davies played ok in the premiership.The goals he scored v Blackburn n Liverpool should of helped us stay up the penalty he won v Villa just after Warnock had scored at the end of the season,his equaliser v Stoke after Foy let Bogdan get pushed in to the net off Walters.I think he is definitely good enough.

Not seen him yet this season so can't comment,but the rest aren't up to it, we are in shit street

Agree mate you only have to look at our previous midfielders in recent years.Okocha,Djorkaeff ,Campo,Frandsen,Nolan,Speed,Stelios,Muamba.
We have no creation,whatever anyone thought of Eagles in his first season in the Championship he scored 12 goals n 12 assists.Last season his injury done him he wasn't the same player.
ED n Garslime are happy for us to stay in this division even in the lower reaches as long as we break even.

He is fighting an uphill battle with his own form and his team mates. Don't think it will happen but if it did I imagine it would be a welcome relief.
