....and now it's really frying - 31 in my garden. And tonight's the first night of footie for months - 2 x 1 hour games so I'm a bit concerned as to how that will go as I've put on a few pounds since lockdown began. Will definitely be taking it easy.
On the plus side the missus has arranged to host a bbq for her staff in our garden (why FFS?) so I've stocked up the beer and wine, set up the barbie ready to go, arranged the socially distanced seating and I'll be out of here as soon as I can without appearing rude. Glad to swerve that one as I just know they'll be talking shop all night.

This is ridiculous - I'm melting. Officially it's 31 degrees here but that's bollocks - has to be at least 35 if not more.
Went into the house to cool off a bit and put the cricket on - rain at OT? WTF?

Some 18 year old girls left some crap drinks at ours - AK? alcopops, Tesco's V & T 4% in a can FFS - you get the drift. Anyhow there was an Old Mout cider pineapple and raspberry flavour - I kid you not!
