The whipping boys of the premier league, will they win a game this season?

We'll be playing them next season that's for sure.

At least they'll be £120 million better off come the end of May.

That should soften the blow a bit........

I went to an alehouse I used to frequent
I saw Bowyer bastard his money was spent
He asked me to play and I answered him nay
I said rubbish like yours we can beat any day
And it's No Nay Never
No Nay Never no more
Will we play bastard rovers
No Nay Never no more

Come to Ewood come to Ewood
It's the place of misery
There's a notice on the doorstep
Saying welcome unto thee
Don't believe them, don't believe them
For it's all a pack of lies
If it weren't for bastard rovers
It would be a paradise

Top man!

(Don't tell Scott or Boggers but when I lived in Padiham I befriended a few of your lot because of our mutual dislike of them Rovers bastards and I enjoyed my time drinking in the Prinny Royal and even learnt a few songs......)

Dingle bastards!

Laughing I thought you said you hated it, when you lived in Burnley?

And that you was glad to get out of there.

Do you not remember that either

Can't see anything other than relegation for the Clarets but I imagine that the plan was always to take the money anyway seeing that there was only a token investment in the squad.

Grab the dosh, secure the parachute payments, maintain a grip on spending and wages, try again next year but on a much more sound financial basis. Sounds like a good plan to me

he never went in.
I saw him at the dart board with Floyd Mayweather. Floyd lost.
Couldn't hit his doubles.
