Is Jay Spearing too fat?

When I see Jay Spearing close up I can't help noticing he looks a bit on the lardy side... I also think he looks like a really old scally... Does he need to shed some pounds or give up the booze... I caught up with him in the showers after the Norwich game and he reminded me of Fat Bastard from Austin Powers.

He looks like a retired, and slightly sozzled, Paul Gascoigne in this picture from about 3 years ago...

I think Ream could do as good a job as defensive mid, if not better, but Lennon hasn't clocked it.

I don't think Spearing is fat.

I do think Ream is shit though.
