Went all the way down the A666, then turned off for Salford which brought us on to the East Lancs, then did a U-Turn back the way we came!

Did a detour and the route re calibrated so haven't a clue!

Ended up coming home without the sat-nav and came through Leigh, Atherton etc instead which I still thought was a long way.
