Zach Clough faces up to three weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury which cost him a debut in the Championship.
The Academy graduate, who had made such an impressive debut against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup, had to pull out of the squad to face Leeds United with a hamstring strain.
“We’ll have to wait until it settles and then scan him again,” Neil Lennon said after the game. “We’re hoping it won’t be anything too serious.”
Meanwhile, Chung-Yong Lee will also have medical checks on Monday to see if he is fit enough to play for South Korea against Kuwait on Tuesday.
He was stretchered off in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Oman at the Asia Cup but the ankle injury he sustained is not thought to be serious.
“He came off but they (Korea) are hoping he’ll be fit for the next game,” Lennon confirmed on Saturday.
“We were hoping he’d fly back tonight – but it looks more like he’ll be okay for the next game at the Asia Cup by the sounds of things.”
