Wanderers’ Under-21s take on Newcastle United on Monday night at the Northumberland FA.
The young Whites, who have won both of their last two league matches (3-0 against Blackburn Rovers and 3-1 against Arsenal), currently sit sixth in the table and are one of only two sides to have taken points off former White Peter Beardsley’s side so far this season, having drawn 3-3 against the Toon Army at the County Ground back in August.
Meanwhile, Newcastle have lost just once this campaign and currently sit top of the table on 22 points, one clear of second-placed West Bromwich Albion and third-placed Arsenal, with two games in hand.
Kick-off is at 7pm with tickets costing £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
