Which party is offering to rid us of the national debt by abandoning HS2, stopping foreign aid to wealthy countries like India, and abandoning plans to renew Trident? More control over immigration is needed too. That would be the party to vote for. ( I wouldn't object to consideration of sharing one nuclear capability across fellow European countries which already have such weapons, but we certainly don't need our very own!)
Austerity is doing untold, possibly irreversible, damage to our public services and there is a growing mood across Europe for rebellion against such one-trick-pony parties.

Of course we need our own nukes. No one is going to lend us one.

As for the rest, I'm not sure where you've copy and pasted it from but everybody knows how much of a nut Sadam Hussain was, but it's irrelevant. its well established that we invaded to support the U.S. who were motivated by Iraqs lack of support in the war of terror. When Sadam refused to back the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan Bush decided to finish the job his father started. 100,000 Iraqi civilians dead and what have we achieved?
No, if you read what I wrote more carefully, you will see that I said that the decision was made on the basis of the intelligence provided and of his conscience. I'd be guessing as regards the precise reasoning of the other 39 countries, as you would be.

I agree with you that, whilst the original objectives were achieved, the lack of planning for managing the aftermath was a shambles.

PS The only part that was copied and pasted was the statement of the exact aims of the coalition forces which takes up one line at the start of the piece.

Think it's more a case of you rephrasing than me misreading -
As Blair has said so often, all you can do is act on the intelligence given and follow your conscience, which in Blair's case, was strongly formed and shaped by his religious faith.

The 'intelligence' provided to him was clearly incomplete or flawed there's still been nothing to say there was evidence of WMD's, quite the opposite in fact -

A joint EU collection would be good though wouldn't it. Save on the ridiculous costs for one thing.

Yeah, until Germany decide to invade and they're the only ones with the nuke keys.

The one in Tesco in Walkden lost one of my wife's shoes once so I wouldn't trust them with the launch keys.

Bollocks to that idea then, we'll hide a key under a stone nearby instead.

I'm standing for parliament and for council as a LibDem. That might not make me very popular on here and may make it less of a challenge to guess who the 1 libdem vote in the poll was!

I voted for Conservatives last time and will not be doing that again!

David Cameron and Theresa May are the biggest tossers ever and would like the pair of liars buried under the patio like in Brookside as they have cost me money and caused my family issues (not on about benefits), would really love to give them both a smack in the face!

I do like UKIP due to the fact that they want to curb immigration and to pull out of Europe and reduce if not stop foreign aid but this is not enough for me to vote as I need to know more on what they are offering.

I have no idea on what Labour have offered on the table as with the rest of them so I have no clue on who I will be voting for apart from not voting for those Conservative shits.

There never seems to be enough information on the TV/Radio/newspaper etc about each party and it really is pathetic.

If they all want peoples votes then they all really need to do much better to get their names and policies out there!!!

I voted for Robert Kilroy Silk when I was younger and had no clue when he had his political party Veritas! Very Happy

The thing is though, I want the best political party for me and my family if that makes sense. Smile
