Just caught the back end of a live interview with Lennon on 5Live and they were inviting questions from fans at the Macron and when asked if he thought that the current squad was good enough to go up next season he actually scoffed a bit and then basically said "No fucking chance!"

He then went on to say that he hoped to be bringing several targets in during the summer.

Hope he is allowed to.

As the players don't get paid anymore i doubt he'll get who he wants.

Bolton target summer transfer swoop for Leeds midfielder Rodolph Austin

Leeds United midfielder Rodolph Austin is wanted by Bolton Wanderers.
The Jamaica international held talks over a move to Wigan in January and was also a target for Cardiff.

However, Neil Lennon is now poised to try his luck with the 29-year-old Austin one of a number of players likely to leave Leeds this summer.

Austin started Leeds' final game of the Championship season as they drew 0-0 with Yorkshire rivals Rotherham at Elland Road. The midfielder made 31 appearances in all competitions for the club this season, scoring three times.

Would be an excellent signing.

Austin would be excellent, i've seen him a few times now and he's a good player, he ran the show last time we played Leeds at home. Just the type of physical player who can actually play and pass the ball that we've been lacking for a long while.

Is he really called "Rodolph" or is that a typo?

So long as he's played in his best position (defensive midfield) I think he'd be a great signing on a free. Started brilliantly under Warnock and Leeds but I haven't heard much on him last year or so, maybe he tailed off?

How many of these "expert" judgements are based on knowing and watching the bloke play actual football and how much is based in his rating on FIFA?

I've never heard of him.

Do you lot spend all your time compiling dossiers on everybody else's players just in case we get linked with them?

Rudy Austin played schoolboy football at my Alma Mater in Jamaica. Class midfielder and a captain. Takes a mean free kick, has touch and a solid tackle. He actually captained Leeds for a couple of seasons and apparently something happened behind the scenes why he was stripped of the captaincy. He never says never, fights to the end, and we'd be lucky to sign him. He captains the Reggae Boyz, by the way - another sign Neil reads this forum and knows we need leaders on the pitch. Morgan from Rotherham is on the radar as well and he is their captain.

i've seen him a couple of times Breaders and as i said earlier he was Leeds best player last time we played Leeds at home, he would be great playing defensive midfielder for us if we could get him. He keeps it simple, can pass well and is a big strong lad, think Trotter times a thousand
