Having re-joined MK Dons and Oldham Athletic on loan on transfer deadline day, Keith Andrews and Conor Wilkinson made their second debuts for their respective clubs during the latest round of Football League fixtures.

Former Republic of Ireland international Andrews came off the bench in the 72nd minute as Dons drew 0-0 at home to Bristol City on Saturday, before starting against Bradford City on Monday night, completing 73 minutes as the League One side lost 2-1 at Valley Parade.

Meanwhile, Wilkinson completed 85 minutes for Oldham as they won 1-0 away at Scunthorpe United.

In the Championship, Jay Spearing completed 87 minutes for Blackburn Rovers as they lost 1-0 away at Watford.

The midfielder was booked early on in the match, while Alex Baptiste was also an unused substitute for Rovers.

Niall Maher was also an unused substitute for Blackpool as they lost 4-0 away at Norwich City.

As well as Andrews and Wilkinson, Kaiyne Woolery was also in action in League One as Notts County lost 1-0 at home to Chesterfield.

The forward completed the full 90 minutes for the Magpies while Hayden White was also an unused substitute for Shaun Derry’s side.

In Israel, Medo Kamara completed the full 90 minutes as Maccabi Haifa drew 0-0 away at Hapoel Acre.

Elsewhere, Andy Kellett was an unused substitute as a Manchester United Under-21s side including the likes of Victor Valdes, Rafael and Ashley Young came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 on Monday night.

what was the point sending Kellett to United if he's sat on the bench for the under 21's? It would have made more sense to send him on loan to a league 1 side.

Wasn't the deal linked to us getting Janko?

Warren Joyce (United reserve team manager) asked Van Gaal for a loan player to provide a bit of cover as he wants to win the reserve team league, hence Kellet went there. No danger of Kellet going permanently, I think he's gone just to provide cover to the reserve team. I suppose the logic is he'll be training with some of the best players in the world.

training is fine to a point but he needs to be playing games to keep his progression going which is why i would have thought it better if he dropped down a league. If the Janko deal couldn't have happened without him going the other way then we will have to wait and see if it was worth it in the long term.
