Should Phil Brown have been our permanent manager?

We've had some shite managers since since Allardyce left - Lee, Megson, Coyle and Freedman - but in all that time Brown apparently would have walked over broken glass to have taken charge of us.

Hindsight is a wondeful thing but wouldn't Brown have done a better job than all of those losers or would he have been just another disaster too?

What do you think?

Everything happens for a reason, I'm glad what has happened has, because I believe we now have a fabulous manager in Lennon.

Brown would have just been like Coyle. Great when things are going well but when results take a turn for the worse he struggles to turn it around.

I don't think Brown has done enough in the game to manage a big club like us, a bit like Freedman.

I don't rate Brown as a manager, but currently we're 7 points above the championship relegation zone so there's a case for saying he couldn't have done much worse than Lee, Megson, Coyle, Freedman and Lennon. We'll never know.
