Difficult but Love for me simply because Forever Changes is such an amazing album and still sounds so good even now.

The Doors for me, gone before their time.
Forever Changes is a great album but sadly Ive not heard much else.
I've always looked back at bands/artists first albums and the Doors first album stands up with the very best of debut albums.

Never heard of love and find the doors boring.

Love Forever Changes and The Doors first album is great but I will go for Love because I was never a massive Doors fan. Always thought they were overrated and Morrison came over as a bit of a tit to me.

Forever changes had two good tracks and the rest was indifferent as I found out at a concert in Stirling. Arthur Lee didn't come across as a full shilling when we briefly met after the show and basically I think they ran out of ideas and material. TBH they were one hit wonders - Alone Again Or - a bit like Sad Cafe and Every Day Hurts - creating a whole career on the back of one brilliantly scored and produced tune. The Doors had so many monster tunes I have to pick them - and I still put on LA Woman or Roadhouse at full blast when I need a lift.

Even though I picked Love I have to admit that the first Doors album is very good as is L.A. Woman.
Unfortunately the other Love albums don't compare with Forever Changes. The follow up had one outstanding track August and the first two Love albums are OK but the rest are forgettable.

Those two Doors albums are the best for me and Morrison Hotel aint bad.
Even their lesser stuff knocks spots off most!
