After the last games fantastic performance, anyone think we will win against Norwich at home and have 2 wins on the bounce?

Norwich are currently sitting in 2nd with 76 points!

Here are some stats...

Last 5 Norwich results:

Norwich 2-0 Sheffield Weds
Brighton 0-1 Norwich
Norwich 3-1 Notts Forest
Huddersfield 2-2 Norwich
Norwich 1-1 Derby

The last 5 meetings between Bolton and Norwich:

Norwich 2-1 Bolton
Norwich 2-0 Bolton
Bolton 1-2 Norwich
Bolton 1-0 Norwich
Norwich 3-2 Bolton

Personally, I feel this game will be a defeat due to Norwich pushing to maintain automatic promotion to the Premier League!

What are your predictions for this game?

Ref watch: James Adcock to oversee Canaries clash

James Adcock will run the rule over Bolton Wanderers’ clash with Norwich City at Macron Stadium on Saturday.

The Nottinghamshire-based official has taken charge of three Whites matches in the past, though this weekend’s game will be his first interaction with Neil Lennon’s side so far this season.

It will also be Mr Adcock’s third visit to Macron Stadium, coming virtually a year since he last oversaw a Bolton match – last season’s 1-0 home victory over Barnsley in April.

So far this season he has overseen 34 matches, handing out 111 yellow cards and nine red cards.

Danny Gratton and Mark Russell will run the line, while Jeremy Simpson is the fourth official.

The last two results have been so unpredictable it's hard to know what's going to happen here - a draw???

1-2 sounds about right.  Norwich are pushing for promotion and we have basically nothing to play for.  If we play loose we may score a goal or even win it....but if Norwich gets in front I fancy them to nick it in the end.

Norwich have become a real force in the last couple of months - we were awful at carrow road earlier in the season yet we still nearly nicked a point.

Having nothing to play for may help us, though I still expect a comfortable Norwich win.

1-3 Norwich

I'll miss this one as we'll be on a plane to Amsterdam as the missus has insisted that we go looking at lots of flowers. its a choice of tulips in the fields or pansies on the pitch. The tulips have won this one.

But it'll be Norwich to win 3-1 and the last we'll see
of some of the players currently on the books

Preview: Bolton v Norwich City

SETTING THE SCENE

Bolton Wanderers host promotion-chasing Norwich City on Saturday looking to put a dent in the Canaries’ chances of securing an immediate return to the Premier League, with Neil Lennon’s side keen to continue their impressive home form under the Northern Irishman.

Sitting just a point behind league-leaders Bournemouth, Norwich’s form since the arrival of Alex Neil as manager has been remarkable with his side losing just twice as they’ve risen up the table.

With Norwich boasting the best away record in the Championship and third-most prolific attack in England, Bolton will be relying on home comforts to come out on top, having tasted league defeat Macron Stadium just once since early-October.

TEAM NEWS

Craig Davies (hamstring) will miss this weekend’s visit of Norwich City after pulling up in training earlier this week, however, Adam Le Fondre is available after missing Easter Monday’s clash with Cardiff City due to the terms of his loan agreement.

Elsewhere, Ben Amos has officially returned to Manchester United following the end of his loan-stint with Wanderers.

Mark Davies (knee) is closing in on a first-team return but is unexpected to be available for Saturday, while Darren Pratley’s (hamstring) chances of returning before the end of the campaign remain in the balance.

Max Clayton (knee), Zach Clough (shoulder), Kevin McNaughton (leg), Simeon Slavchev (ankle), Marc Tierney (leg) and David Wheater (hamstring) all remain long-term absentees.

LAST NORWICH XI (v Sheffield Wednesday, W2-0)

Ruddy, Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Olsson, Johnson (Odjidja-Ofoe 89), Howson, Hoolahan (Redmond 79), Tettey, Dorrans (Hooper 88), Jerome.

ONE TO WATCH

Having joined Norwich City from Stoke City last summer, Cameron Jerome’s form in front of goal has been one of the key reasons behind the Canaries’ promotion challenge this season.

With 19 goals to his name, including two against Bolton in Norwich’s 2-1 victory over the Whites at Carrow Road earlier in the campaign, the former England Under-21s international needs just one more to equal his highest ever return.

Making his professional debut for Cardiff City during the 2004/05 season, his 20 goals the following year earned him a move to Birmingham City in May 2006.

Twice helping the Blues win promotion to the Premier League in 2007 and 2009, Jerome also won the League Cup with the club in 2011, before signing for Stoke City following Birmingham’s relegation.

Enjoying three years on the Potters’ books before his move to Norwich, Jerome spent last season loan at Crystal Palace as they memorably recovered from a poor start to comfortably secure Premier League survival.

LAST TIME THEY WERE HERE (Bolton 1-2 Norwich City, 17 September 2011)

Two goals in quick-succession shortly before the break saw ten-man Wanderers suffer a narrow defeat the last time Norwich City visited Macron Stadium.

Anthony Pilkington prodded home from close-range before a Bradley Johnson header doubled the Canaries’ lead, giving the score a convincing look heading in at the break.

Bolton’s task was made harder shortly after the restart when Ivan Klasnic was sent off for headbutting future White Marc Tierney.

However, the Trotters fought back to halve the score shortly after the hour-mark as Martin Petrov scored from the penalty spot after David Ngog was barged over in the area.

Ngog almost rescued a point late on, only for goalkeeper John Ruddy to acrobatically keep out his header from point-blank range, but that was the closest the Trotters would come to an equaliser as Norwich went away with all three points.

This morning's Eastern Daily Press footie pull out (The Pink 'Un) pays us a hell of a lot of respect and Alex Neil blows loads of smoke up Lennon's ass so I get the feeling they're preparing for war and setting us up for a fall.

Realistically they have premiership class all over the pitch and we'll do well to get something from the game today but there's a ray of hope in that AN is saying he expects us to attack from the outset so maybe, just maybe they'll sit back for a while and hand us the initiative.

Not expecting a result but you never know.
