i know quite a few people who have a second team.

I have always looked out for Kidderminster Harriers results. I think i was about 11 when they won the conference but the ground wasn't up to standard or something so weren't allowed to actually be promoted and since then i have always looked out for them.

I know Nat's second team is Bolton (with Chorley being first)

So what's yours and your reasons?

Portsmouth, had a mate at school who supported them. So everytime they played up north we used to go watching them.

I only have one team, and that's Bolton, however, I do look out for results for others, such as where I used to live, etc, but nothing too serious.

That's what i am like with kidderminster. never been to a game, maybe one day, but just always looked out for how they are doing.

I have got loads of "second " teams. When I was 10, we moved from Bolton to a small place called Knott-End, just across the river from Fleetwood, who are now one of my second teams, although I never got used to living near to Blackpool. I had a mate who lived in Barrow, and they became a second team. Later in life I spent 18 months at an engineering college in Portsmouth, so they became a second team, and then later on at University I lived for a time in a short life home in Wimbledon so they became a second team. Finally I have lived in North London for the past 35 years, so count Arsenal and Spurs as second teams. Nowadays I even look out for West Hams scores, because of the Sam Allardyce connection, even though I think he and Garty were/are crook, as was cheeky chappie Harry Redknapp

i have a mate who's an Altrincham fan and went to one of their games a few years ago so i always look out for their results but its the Super Whites all the way for me.

My nan and grandad live in knott end, they always look out for fleetwood and blackpool results.

Bolton are my first team, for now. If Chorley get promoted I will almost certainly start watching them as the passion on and off the pitch is a hundred times more committed than the ponces at BWFC.

Chorley are my second team as that's where my folks live.

i know a few people who play for salford (or used too anyway) in fact one of there dads is still on the board i think.

Haven't they been taking over by the ex united lot? (giggs, butt etc)

Yes they have, they got the Managers from Ramsbottom UTD, and they are promoted, they played Radcliffe the other week and giggs and Butt Was there.
