Burnley have been relegated. We'll be playing them next season. To be fair they have done what we need to do (Apart from buying Shite). Get promoted, spend little money and try and survive. Hopefully WHEN we go up we will do a better job.

They have given some decent performances, just not enough goals. I feel Ings' early displays and contract status worked against them. The big boys came sniffing and the goals dried up. Simplistic, I know - but they ended up not being good enough for the Premier League.

It has to go down as a great season for them. Not sure what it says about the state of football that you can get relegated and it goes down as a job well done, but that's what I'd be thinking if I was a Burnley fan. They've played some brilliant matches, had a real go at some of the top teams, and looked like they might actually stay up at times.
It tops the season we've had in terms of entertainment, that's for sure.
The big worry for them now has to be expectation levels. It'd be surprising if they can replicate what they did in this league last season, but their fans won't settle for much less now.

Ah well there you go.
Back to the best league in England where we may win a few more games than we have this season.
Proud of the lads efforts.

We certainly put up a decent fight.
We've been in every game apart from West Brom away and the second half away at Arsenal.
We just lacked the quality to win certain games when we were on top.

Will be interesting to see how many players Burnley manage to keep hold of during the summer, Ings will be off and I think Trippier will be following close behind him.

Trippier's a bit of a home boy. If he goes I don't think that it will be far.
I can see him maybe going to Stoke. It's not that far from his Manchester roots and they are crying out for a right back.
He won't go anywhere where he can't play every game though. He really is the type that if you knocked on his door and asked him if he was coming out for a kick about, he'd be out like a shot.

Tough season on them, their club as a whole doesn't have the correct mentality to produce at that level for a sustained period of time. The owners should have spent a bit of cash in January to give them a better chance, sadly for them they'll never be more than whipping boys in the prem. they gave it their all though, you have to credit them that

Quite a few Northwest teams Relegated, Burnley, Blackpool, Wigan and Tranmere
Bury promoted ? and maybe Preston.
Looks like The South are starting to take over? Chelsea, Bournemouth, Watford, Bristol City and MK Dons ?
