Seems an unlikely destination to me! But who knows maybe we'll see him again soon according to this!

Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones wants to open talks with Bolton top scorer Ivan Klasnic - after he was freed by the relegated outfit.

Croatian Klasnic was cut from Owen Coyle's squad despite leading their scoring charts, but the ambitious Owls plan to offer him a deal.

Klasnic had a decent record at Bolton but Coyle let him go to make way for young blood - and to get his wages off the payroll.

Wednesday supremo Milan Mandaric has given Jones money to spend and Klasnic's arrival would be a major coup and proof that they mean business next season.

What's the source of the article, Hipster? Jusr curious.

I'd be surprised if Mandaric was willing to pay wages at Klasnic's level and I expect him to rock up in Germany next, which is where his wife lives. But yes, he's bound to score against us if he signs for another FLC club.

Cheers. I can't make my mind up about Nixon. He's supposedly Coyle's mate and some of his stories are bang on and break before anyone else - the Iturbe thing last season for example. And other times he gets it totally wrong. He's been sarcastically nicknamed "The Oracle" on JA606.

Don't you mean the NPower Championship - as we will be hearing at least 10 times in every interview that Coyle will give!

I would say Nixon is usually right, or at least close on 90% of the things he writes.

the other stuff is the usual journalist bollocks they all partake in.

for some reason despite being bang on with the majority of our stories over the last couple of years he still "talks shit" according to some.

I've been typing 'PL' for years. No way am I substituting that for 'Npower Champtionship' as it is too long and sounds shit. 'NPC' is already an abbreviation for something else, so 'FLC' it is.
