Jermaine Beckford was named man-of-the-match as his hat-trick helped Preston North End win promotion to the Championship after they beat Swindon Town 4-0 in the League One Play-Off Final.
Having memorably scored in both legs of the semi-final against Chesterfield to book the Lilywhites' place at Wembley, the Jamaican international took just three minutes to fire Simon Grayson's side ahead at the home of English football - volleying home Paul Gallagher's free-kick from close-range, before Paul Huntington doubled their lead ten minutes later to put them in control of the tie.
Beckford curled home from the edge of the area with his left foot just before half-time before clinching the matchball just short of the hour-mark as he slotted home after racing clean-through on goal.
Substituted in the 68th minute because of injury, former Wanderer Kevin Davies came on in Beckford's place as North End comfortably saw out the match to secure their place in next year's second tier after a four-year absence.
