A look back at November as Wanderers went through the month unbeaten

SUMMARY
After starting November with a comfortable midweek victory over Cardiff City as Liam Feeney scored his first goals in a Bolton shirt, Wanderers welcomed local-rivals Wigan Athletic to Macron Stadium just three days later for a Friday night derby in front of the Sky cameras.

Max Clayton opened the scoring for the Trotters early in the second half as he marked his first start for the club with his maiden goal, before further strikes from Craig Davies and Lee Chung-Yong helped clinch a 3-1 win.

Returning to league action away at Blackpool following the November international break, Lee was on the scoresheet again at Bloomfield Road as Bolton came from behind to draw.

Following the passing of club legend Roy Hartle earlier in the month, Wanderers paid tribute to the one-club man prior to their final match of the month against Huddersfield Town at Macron Stadium.

Craig Davies’ solitary strike against the Terriers saw Neil Lennon’s side mark the occasion with a win as they finished November unbeaten, while also maintaining their 100 percent record at BL6 since the Northern Irishman’s arrival.

Elsewhere during the month, former fan-favourite Eidur Gudjohnsen started training with the Whites 14 years after last playing for Wanderers, while Jermaine Beckford, Tom Eaves, Paddy Kenny, Hayden White and Tom Youngs all departed Macron Stadium on loan.

THEY SAID
“The word 'legend' gets bandied about quite often these days, but I think it is very fitting for Roy. For someone to spend all of their career at one club and play nearly 500 games is very rare these days.”

PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Picking up where he left off in October, Lee Chung-Yong’s impressive performances throughout November saw him win the Whites’ Player of the Month award for a second successive month.

An ever-present during the month, the South Korean scored twice against local rivals Wigan Athletic and Blackpool while also recording two assists as he continued to shine under Neil Lennon.

With Wanderers unbeaten throughout the month, Lee claimed 48 percent of the vote to clinch the accolade, with Andrew Lonergan and Craig Davies finishing second and third respectively.
