Rob Hall came on as a late substitute as MK Dons lost away at Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The winger joined the action in the 79th minute in place of Samir Carruthers as goals from Stewart Downing and David Nugent ensured Dons fell to a 2-0 defeat at the Riverside Stadium.
Despite Karl Robinson’s side rarely threatening, Hall did hit the post in injury-time as MK Dons searched in vain for a late consolation.
Meanwhile in League One, Conor Wilkinson was an unused substitute as Barnsley won 4-1 at home to Swindon Town.
