A recent trend has started,
For posting stuff in verse,
Apologies for sounding harsh,
I know I'm being terse.
But some of it is really bad.
And getting ever worse.
So here's a guide to help you out and set you on your way,
To writing stuff that's not half bad. (In a Year 8 kind of way.)
Keep it short,
Don't complicate,
and make sure that it scans.
The meter is important, folks,
Just like the best made plans.
Rhyming is important too,
But not exclusively,
You're aiming for a steady flow,
Just like this, you see?
So please don't take offence at this,
I'm really not being mean,
I'm trying to help my fellow Nuts,
After all, we are one team.......
